Protect Your Mane

Smiling woman spraying heat protectant into her hair

Just as you're about to head to the beach or relax poolside, the first thing you do to protect your skin from the harsh rays is apply sunblock. Think of protecting your hair with heat protectant the same way you think about protecting your skin with sunscreen. Prolonged heat damage to your hair can cause brittleness, dryness, dullness and even some breakage.

Maintain Moisture

Maintaining the moisture in your hair is what helps preserve the shininess, elasticity and fullness, you can do this by applying a heat protectant before using your hot tools. Heat protectant spray creates a barrier on your hair strand, preventing heat from damaging the cuticle. Once the cuticle is damaged, the cuticle itself opens up, causing your hair to look dry and dull and more prone to breakage. Heat Protectant helps keep the cuticle closed, which helps maintain those beautiful locks.

Applying Heat Protectant

Just before you use your hot tools (hair dryer, straightener, curling iron, etc. ), apply your heat protectant, one section at a time, then style as usual. You may not see the effects immediately, but your hair will thank you later. Healthy hair is the new do.

You can get heat protectant spray in the form of oil, serum, lotion or spray.

If you want full, healthy, shiny and resilient hair, then protect your mane.
